Extension Activities
Department of E & CM participated in the college exhibition “ Centenial Vista”on 7th -12th November 2022. Students designed many electronic projects / circuits and are displayed in the labs of the department. A 3D video show and game zones are also arranged. Students and teachers also done the volunteer duties at ticket counters and project exhibition stalls
Automatic Light Controlling
To optimize energy consumption and minimize wastage, the college has implemented sensor-based energy conservation measures. The project was supervised by Dr. Jibin Jose Mathew, Assistant Professor in the Electronics & Computer Maintenance Department, who also conducted training sessions for the students.
LED Light assembling and testing unit
As a part of our community extension activities, the Department of Electronics & Computer Maintenance initiated an ‘LED Light Assembly and Testing Unit.’ Mr. Ajan P J, Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics & Computer Maintenance, conducted the initial classes for this project. The assembled LED bulbs will be provided to both our college staff and the community.
Deciduous trees and Dry leaf compost
Dry leaf compost is produced from de-composable plant materials, including grass, dry leaves, and vegetable leftovers. An awareness class on dry leaf compost and organic farming was organized for the students.
